Q:  Does my player need a new uniform every season?

A:  No.  MSC operates on a two-year uniform cycle, which is determined by Adidas as the supplier of uniforms for our Club.   UNIFORMS ARE THE SAME FOR  FALL 2025-SPRING 2026 SEASON. If your player still fits in his/her uniform from season to season and we are still in the same uniform cycle, there is no need to order anything new.

Q:  How do I know what size to order?

A:  Stefans Soccer maintains a stock of sample uniforms at their Madison store location, available for all players to try on.   

As an alternative to in-person fittings, please use the following Hummel size chart to determine what uniform size(s) to order: There is also additional uniform sizing guidance available once you log into the Stefans My Uniform website to start your order.

Q:  What uniform items are required to be ordered from Stefans?

A:  The required uniform pieces include two jerseys (one blue and one gray), plus one pair of blue shorts and one pair of blue socks.  Additional shorts and socks can be ordered if desired.  There will be other optional items available to order with uniforms, including goalie jerseys, pants, jackets, etc.

Q:  When will my uniform be ready?

A:  Stefans will do everything possible to make sure your uniform is received in time for your team’s first game.  With that being said, timely ordering is important so please be sure to place your order as soon as the information and My Uniform link is received. 

Q:  The season has started and I want to order additional shorts, etc. for my player.  Am I too late to place an order?

A:  Once the My Uniform website is activated for MSC uniform ordering, the website remains live for the entire season.  Additional orders can be placed at any time here. This is also a great way to order additional gear for your player and use it as a birthday or holiday gift.

Q:  How are jersey numbers assigned?

A:  Jersey numbers are assigned randomly in an every-other-year format.  This numbering system is designed to minimize the chance that players end up on the same team and have been assigned the same jersey number, as can happen when players get older.  Jersey numbers are assigned to MSC registered players at the U9 level (or whenever the player first joins MSC) and these numbers will stay with the player through the remainder of his/her youth soccer career.

Q:  Can I request a specific jersey number for my player?

A:  Unfortunately due to the volume of players registered with MSC, it is impossible to honor any specific jersey number requests.

Q:  How do I order MSC fanwear?

A:  There are a few different ways to order MSC fanwear throughout the season:

(1) Stefans will email and MSC will post to Facebook a link each Fall, Winter and Spring to a spirit wear catalog where orders can be placed

(2) Baseball hats and winter hats are currently available in a selection of styles for purchase directly from MSC.  Each hat costs $25.   

(3) The items shown on the My Uniform ordering website are not just for players!  Jackets, jerseys, training tops, etc. are open to ordering by parents and MSC fans to support your favorite player.  Note that a portion of these proceeds go back to MSC and are used to fund uniforms for those players who cannot afford to purchase on their own.
